The difference between a CTO and CIO is the subject of many articles and debates. We consider a CTO (Chief Technical Officer) to be focused on developing and/or integrating and deploying software for a firm. In smaller organizations this role may be more of a chief engineer/programmer. The CIO role tends to be broader and focus on the processes of using information within the organization. We can help you hire a CTO or even help you outsource this role to a development company.
